Celebration is a concert band piece written for the 30th anniversary of the Huntington Beach Concert Band. As the title suggests, the piece is fast and rhythmic, much like a fanfare. There is only one theme, but it is stated in many permutations. The permutations are: rhythmic changes, duration changes and the theme set against itself at different speeds. The theme is also varied and passed to different instruments. The theme is played by almost every instrument by the end of the piece. Come and enjoy the celebration.
